Installing $unite App in G Suite

G suite Administrator can push $unite app installation for multiple users in the organization. Refer to Google Help article for more information:

  1. Install  Elevate Extension  for Chrome

  3. You will see $Unite icon appeared in the upper right corner in your Chrome Browser

Features

Click-to-Call

Hover over the phone on the webpage to see the $Unite icon appearing and link that launches $Unite Desktop application (or different default calling application).  Read this article to make sure $Unite is set as your default calling application.

To disable Click-to-Call (For Chrome users only)

Chrome updated a new feature that will cause an additional pop-up to come up. To prevent this pop-up, you will need to disable the 'click-to-call' #UI feature only in Chrome. Perform the following steps for Chrome:

  1. With Chrome opened, select this link: chrome://flags/
  2. Locate #click-to-call#ui
  3. Select disable from the drop down list.
  4. Disable extension

$Meeting Integration

Start meetings from your Google Chrome browser

  1. Click on the $Unite Extension icon in Chrome Browser to log in

  2. Click Start $Meeting button

  3. This will take you to the Welcome screen, where you need to specify your Display name and Email and click Join The Meeting

Google Calendar integration

You can schedule meetings for your Google Calendar events:

  1. Open Google Calendar and add event or open the existing one
  2. In the event pane you will see option to add the meeting

  3. Click on Add $Meeting to generate meeting details and click Save

  4. Once added, the meeting can be started from the event pane by clicking Start $Meeting
