With Email Protection you can create email reports for messages that have passed through its mail filters.

Note: Email Protection Email Tracking and Reporting will not show emails that have failed the basic connection checks. Read the Knowledge Base article Email Protection for Exchange for more information on these checks. Please contact Support or submit a Message Tracking request if you were unable to locate the messages in question with use of Email Protection Email Reporting or Email Tracking.

To generate a new report, navigate to  CONTROL PANEL > Services > Email Protection > Email Management > Email Reporting.

Once a new report is generated, you will see the total number of items it contains in the upper left-hand corner of the search panel. By default, it only shows the first 20 results even if the total number of emails that have met the search criteria is greater than 20. To retrieve the full report, click on Send report to and it will be sent to the specified email address.

Notes:

  • The number of search results is limited by 20. To see all results, send the the full report to your email address
  • Reports can only be sent to addresses in your domain(s)
  • Email data is stored for the last 30 days only

The generated report will be sent to the specified email address in the .CSV format. Together with the attached CSV file, the notification email that you get will have a summary of the search criteria used to generate it, the name of the person that generated it and the number of results. Here is an example of what this notification email might look like:
