Call Parking is a type of Call Holding. The difference between traditional Hold and Park is when you put a call on hold, you can only retrieve that call from the same phone where it was put on Hold.  With Call Park, you can pick that call back off of Hold from ANY phone in the system.

Yealink T4x G Phones

Method 1:

1. During a call, press the Park soft key (You may need to press the More soft key to see the Park soft key).
2. Listen for the 
call park code. Make sure to take note of the call park code that the call was parked on.
3. Hang up phone.


Method 2:

1. During a call, press the Transfer soft key.
2. Dial the call park group number (default 9000).
3. Listen for the call park code. Make sure to take note of the call park code that the call was parked on.
4. Hang up phone.

To pick up parked call: dial the call park code where the call was parked (e.g. 9001, 9002, 9003, etc.)

Yealink W52

Method 1:

1. While on a call, press the Ext. Call softkey.
2. Dial the call park group number (default 9000).
3. You can let the phone timeout to the park group, press OK or press Send to park the call.  (Do  not hit the Transfer of R key a second time).
4. Listen for the call park code. Make sure to take note of the call park code that the call was parked on. This will display on the screen and also play in the handset / speakerphone.
5. Hang up phone.

Method 2:

1. While on a call, press the Options soft key and then select Transfer.
2. Dial the call park group number (default 9000). You can let the phone timeout to the park group, press OK or press 'Send' to park the call.
3. Listen for the call park code. Make sure to take note of the call park code that the call was parked on. This will display on the screen and also play in the handset / speakerphone.
4. Hang up phone.

To pick up parked call: dial the call park code where the call was parked (e.g. 9001, 9002, 9003, etc.)

Polycom IP Phones 

Method 1:

1. While on a call, press the More Soft key - press Park Soft key. It will dial default park group 9000.
2. Listen for the call park code. Make sure to take note of the call park code that the call was parked on. This will display on the screen and also play in the handset / speakerphone.

Note: if you park 2 calls on IP331 (2-line phone), you can't make or recieve calls.

Polycom VVX 201, 300-310, 400-410  

Method 1:

1. While on a call, press the More Soft key - press Park Soft key. It will dial default park group 9000.

To place a call on park:
1. While on call, press  xfer softkey.
2. Dial the call park group number (default 9000).
3. Listen for the call park code (e.g. 9001. 9002, 9003, etc.). Make sure to take note of the call park code. This will display on the screen and also play in the handset / speakerphone.
4. Hang up phone.

To pick up parked call: dial the call park code where the call was parked (e.g. 9001, 9002, 9003, etc.)

Cisco Cordless Phone

To place a call on park:
1. While on call, press the Options softkey.
2. Select Transfer (Scroll down to Transfer and press the center button).
3. Dial the call park group number (default 9000).
4. Listen for the call park code (e.g. 9001. 9002, 9003, etc.). Make sure to take note of the call park code. This will display on the screen and also play in the handset / speakerphone.
5. Hang up phone.

To pick up parked call: dial the call park code where the call was parked (e.g. 9001, 9002, 9003, etc.)

How To Create Park Groups

Default Park Group includes all phones and has extension 9000. You can create your own Call Parking groups.

  1. Navigate to CONTROL PANEL - Voice Services - Groups - Create new group

  2. Select the type of the group Call Park group. Name the group ans click Save changes.
    Once created you will see extension for this Park group. 
  3. On next tab from drop down select members and click Add.
    Note: a phone may only be a member of one Call Park Group.

Limitations

  • Each Phone may only Park up to 2 calls at a time due to the inbound call / call waiting limitation.
  • Flex systems can have up to 10 Call Park groups.
  • When you pick up a Parked call, you will only see the CLI of the caller, no CNAM.
  • Only one call can be parked on each button at once.
  • Flex phones may only be in one Call Park group at a time.
