This article provides an overview of the best options for manual migration of data from Exchange server to Smarsh Hosted Services in case Smarsh Hosted Services cannot establish connection to your current Exchange server.

Using Export/Import options in Outlook If you have the profile in Outlook configured for your Exchange mailbox you may export all data to a PST file and import it in a new Exchange profile. Using Outlook Backup Tool You can export the Exchange mailbox data to a PST file using Outlook and then upload this file to Outlook Backup tool in the CONTROL PANEL. Once the PST file is uploaded, you can assign it to your mailbox and restore to it. This way the data will appear on the server in your Exchange Mailbox.
