Known issues

  1. SIP ALG is enabled by default and must be disabled to prevent issues with VoIP phones.
  2. DNS DHCP servers need to be set to efficient DNS servers to prevent registration issues with Polycom phones.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the router's web user interface.
  2. Click on Firewall -> Firewall Advanced
  3. Set SIP ALG to "Off"
  4. Contact AT&T and tell them that you want the DHCP DNS servers on their AT&T modem changed to Google's public DNS:
    • Primary DNS server: 8.8.8.8
    • Secondary DNS server: 8.8.4.4
  5. It is not clear if there are any additional issues with this router, if you run in to any issues contact Smarsh Hosted Services so we can better document this device.
