This article describes the way to access shared Exchange calendar on Android or iOS devices.
ActiveSync doesn't have a functionality to display any Exchange calendars except owned by a user. However, you can still access a shared calendar using other methods.
Subscribe to calendar
If another user published their calendar, you can subscribe to the calendar using your mobile device. Refer to Knowledge Base article Publish Calendar In Outlook/OWA for instructions on publishing a calendar.
Note: This method is only available for iOS devices.
- To subscribe to a calendar, navigate to Passwords and Accounts > Add account.
- Choose Other > Add Subscribed Calendar.
Open Another Mailbox
If you wish to access someone else’s calendar without accessing their email, you can add that account to your mobile device and choose to only sync Calendar. Refer to the Knowledge Base article Guide: How To Connect A Wireless Device With Email Account for instructions on adding an email account to a wireless device.
Note: You will need to know the password to the other account to use this method.
Outlook for iOS/Android
Important: Opening a shared calendar in Outlook mobile app is working only with mailboxes hosted on Office 365.
To access shared calendars in Outlook for iOS/Android:
