To troubleshoot installation problems and missing features issues for Windows clients, installer logs are needed. To collect installer logs:
- Navigate to the C:\Program Files\ShareSync\Logs\Installer or C:\Windows\temp directory (depends on OS, client version, on which step the installation fails etc.) We recommend checking both folders.
- Find the log files that were changed recently and look like:
Note: The recommendation is to synchronize to a local hard drive only. Do not use desktop Sync client with flash drives, external hard drives, network drives, or any external media.
