This article describes how to enable Skype for Business Chat and Conferencing for a user in CONTROL PANEL and steps to create a new Skype for Business-only user.

To enable Skype for Business for existing user:

  1. Log in to CONTROL PANEL > Services > Skype for Business.
  2. Find the requested user on the list, choose the type of license and check the corresponding box.
  3. Click Proceed.
  4. Click Confirm.

Enable Skype For Business

To create a new user with Skype for Business service enabled:

  1. Log in to CONTROL PANEL > Services > Skype for Business > Click Create user
  2. Check Skype for Business box.
  3. Specify user information.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Click Confirm.

Create Skype For Business user

Note: Each Skype For Business user can have different license enabled. If Skype For Business is enabled when creating a new user, by default, the Standard license is assigned to that user.
