If calendar synchronization doesn’t work between your BlackBerry® device and Exchange mailbox, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Verify that the mailbox involved in synchronization is not hidden from the address book.

  1. The Account Administrator should log in to CONTROL PANEL and navigate to the Mailboxes page.
  2. Click the display name of the affected mailbox. In the mailbox settings, click the Advanced tab.
  3. Find the Hide from address book option. If this option is checked, this can be the cause of calendar synchronization issues. Clear the checkbox next to Hide from address book and click Save Changes.

2. Verify that Wireless Calendar synchronization is enabled on your BlackBerry handheld.

  1. On the handheld home screen, select Calendar.
  2. In the calendar, click the BlackBerry key to expand the menu and select Options.
  3. On the Options screen, highlight the desired calendar, click the trackball or trackwheel, and make sure that Wireless Synchronization is set to YES.
  4. If it is set to NO, click the trackwheel or trackball and select Change Option, then select YES.
  5. Click the trackwheel or trackball and select Save.

3. If Wireless Synchronization is set to YES, but you are still not getting your calendar items, turn wireless synchronization off again.

  1. On the handheld home screen, select Calendar.
  2. In the calendar, click the BlackBerry key to expand the menu and select Options.
  3. On the Options screen, highlight the desired calendar, then click the trackball or trackwheel.
  4. Highlight Wireless Synchronization, click the trackball or trackwheel, and select Change Option. Select NO for Wireless Synchronization.
  5. Click the trackwheel or trackball and select Save.

4. Finally, reactivate the Wireless Calendar on the device.

  1. In the calendar, click the BlackBerry key to expand the menu and select Options.
  2. On the Options screen, highlight the desired calendar, then click the trackball or trackwheel.
  3. Highlight Wireless Synchronization, click the trackball or trackwheel, then select Change Option. Select YES for Wireless Synchronization.
  4. Click the trackwheel or trackball and select Save.
